SALT burgers + fries launched in Wicker Park around 2022, transforming a former I Dream of Falafel site into one of Chicago's only halal-focused smashburger concepts. Owner Hassan Jaffrani built the burger program around prime brisket and chuck ground fresh daily from whole cuts.
