FYVE BROS opened in Glendale Heights, Illinois around early 2025, staking their claim as the 'Home of the OKC Burger' in DuPage County's western suburbs. The concept is tightly focused: 100% Zabiha Halal, fresh-ground beef, house-made spice blends and sauces, and an OKC-style smashburger that quickly made it the highest-rated restaurant in Glendale Heights. The name 'OKC Burger' nods to the Oklahoma City-style influence on the smash technique.
The OKC Burger stacks two fresh-ground patties smashed hard on the griddle with onions pressed directly into the meat, topped with American cheese, fresh jalapeños, pickles, and FYVE's house-made signature sauce on a potato bun — all for $9.49. What sets it apart: the kitchen grinds all beef in-house daily, seasons with a proprietary blend, and serves 100% Zabiha Halal. The combination of price, quality, and halal certification fills a gap that few suburban smashburger spots address.
Drove 40 minutes just to try Fyve Bros, and it was absolutely worth it. The burger was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right.
This might be one of the best smash burgers I've had in the Chicago area.
The sauce on the burger was so good too so ask for a bit more.
FYVE BROS brings serious energy to the smashburger game, built on a passion for bold flavors and griddle-seared technique.
Great food! A little pricey for the portion, but very tasty.
