Josh Weinstein opened The Quiet Few in April 2019 in Jeffries Point, East Boston, as a neighborhood whiskey tavern built around the "Top Shelf Low Brow" idea. Chef Scott Jensen built a menu where the smashburger became the defining order, and by 2024 the spot was featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
The Hell Yeah Burger uses two 4 oz patties marinated in spices and whiskey before hitting the flat-top, then layers American and cheddar, smoked onions, pickles, and signature sauce on sesame brioche. Boston Globe and Time Out both singled it out in city best-burger coverage.
